Alice V. Hansen

Alice V. Hansen, F.W.S.

Alice is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society. Her specialties are marine subjects as well as bird life and scenes that chronicle her travels and life experiences. She is partial to deep, vivid colors, which create spontaneous forms and emphasize contrast. She now works exclusively in watercolor.

She has been a cover artist for the Keep Florida Beautiful Magazine as well as for programs in various fishing tournaments. Alice has contributed painting to conservation groups for fundraisers and has won numerous awards at festivals.

Her work appears in many corporate, public and private collections and can also be seen at the Highlands Art Legue in Sebring. Alice participates in approximately 10 juried art festivals a year.
